How leaderboard rankings and Launch of the Week awards work
Three separate rankings track launches by votes, paid placement and domain authority. Top performers each week earn badges.

Community ranking
The Community board lists all launches ordered by votes alone. Your position climbs or falls as the community votes throughout each day. This ranking is entirely merit-based and free to enter.
Paid ranking
The Billboard board shows launches that have received money contributed towards promotion. Each entry is clearly marked as paid space. To appear here, a launch must meet a minimum contribution of $5. The Billboard board is ordered by the total amount contributed, not by community engagement.
Domain authority ranking
The Domain Rating board ranks launches by their Ahrefs Domain Rating score. Each listing shows the current rating, whether it has risen, fallen or stayed level since the previous check, and the exact dates when the score was last measured and when any change occurred.
Launch of the Week
Each seven-day period running Monday to Sunday (UTC) automatically awards Launch of the Week badges to the top 3 launches by votes on the Community board. The system processes the awards after the week ends and sends emails to the winning founders. You cannot nominate or vote for Launch of the Week—the badges go to whichever 3 launches finish highest in that week's community voting.
Questions people ask
- Can I pay to move up the Community board?
- No. The Community board is ranked by votes only. Paid promotion appears on the separate Billboard board, which requires a minimum contribution of $5.
- How often does the Domain Rating board update?
- The board shows the Ahrefs Domain Rating for each launch and records when the rating was last checked and when it last changed.
- When do Launch of the Week winners find out?
- Winners are announced and notified by email after each calendar week closes on Sunday (UTC). The top 3 launches by votes that week receive the badges automatically.
