New Product Launches developer desk: API and MCP
You can reach New Product Launches by REST API or by MCP server, from your own code or from an AI assistant. Either one can search every launch, read leaderboards and founder stories, submit a product by its website address, edit your listing and get a checkout link for a paid launch, and the rules do not differ.

Connect your AI assistant
Any MCP client (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and more) can use https://newproductlaunches.com/mcp as a custom connector or MCP server. Ask it “What launched this week in my category?”, “Find alternatives to my competitor” or “Launch my product https://example.com”. Reading works at once; the first change you make opens a browser so you can connect your account. Step-by-step for each app.

Rules that always apply
- The prices you read through the API come from the pricing of New Product Launches (list_products). They are in US dollar cents and exclude VAT.
- A purchase is finished on a checkout page that the person opens and pays on. The API only gives out the link and never sees a card.
- Your code cannot vote. The API and the MCP server leave voting to people on New Product Launches, who are the only source of votes.
- Drafts written by the AI rest on evidence quoted from the product's own site, and a fact it cannot find stays blank and marked instead of being made up.
- The billboard and sponsorships are labelled as paid placements. Rankings by the community are decided only by votes.
Questions
- Is it possible for an assistant to vote or pay for me?
- No. Votes are cast by people on the site alone. For payment the API returns a checkout link, and you open it and pay yourself.
- Can the AI invent facts about my product?
- Avoiding that is how the draft is built: it works only from your own website, marks and leaves blank what it cannot verify, and nothing goes live until you have reviewed every field and changed what you want.
- Can developers use an API on New Product Launches?
- Yes: there is a free REST API at /api/v1 with an OpenAPI description, and a remote MCP server at /mcp. Public data is readable without signing in, while changing your own listings needs your account, through OAuth or an API key.
- Is there a charge?
- No charge for the API or the MCP server: both are free within the published rate limits. A paid launch or other purchase is priced on the pricing page.
- Can I use New Product Launches in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code?
- Yes. Put the MCP server URL into your app as a custom connector or MCP server. Reads work at once, and the first time you write something a browser window opens so you can connect your account.
