How does voting rank launches on New Product Launches?
Votes are cast by signed-in community members on live listings only, with strict fraud controls and no paid influence over the count.

Casting your vote
To vote, sign in and verify your email address. Each person gets one vote per listing. Votes apply only to active launches—closed or upcoming products cannot be voted on.
There is one exception: you must vote for at least one other founder's launch before voting on your own. This rule preserves the integrity of the ranking.
Keeping votes genuine
Suspicious voting patterns trigger automated flags. Votes from flagged bursts are held back until a human reviewer checks them. Hourly and daily limits block automated voting attempts.
From time to time you may see a verification prompt as you vote—this is part of the fraud detection system.
What votes cannot do
Votes are distinct from paid ranking (the billboard), verification badges, and metrics such as Domain Rating. These four systems operate independently. No founder can purchase votes, and no payment alters a vote total.
Influence—earned by sustained community participation—can increase the weight of an individual vote. This reward goes to active members, not to paid accounts.
Questions people ask
- Do I need to confirm my email to vote?
- Yes. Sign in, verify your email address, then you can vote on live launches.
- Can I vote for my own launch first?
- No. You must vote for at least one other founder's launch before you can vote on your own.
- Will paid placement change my vote count?
- No. Votes and paid ranking are separate systems. Purchase of a billboard has no effect on the votes your launch receives.
