How do I pay to make my listing a paid launch?

Upgrade your free listing to paid status for $5, unlock all profile sections, and choose when to go live.

Updated

Making the switch from free to paid

Your free listing has one path to paid status. Pay $5—the identical cost as posting a new paid launch from scratch—and your listing converts to a full paid launch. Invoicing works the same way as any other launch; VAT applies in jurisdictions where it is due, with prices quoted in US dollars.

What unlocks when you pay

Once payment clears, your listing gains immediate benefits:

  • Founder story, milestones, screenshots, demo video and product comparisons all become visible.
  • Your website link switches to a followed (dofollow) link.
  • The New Product Launches badge requirement drops away.
  • The hold for your founder profile ends.

Your existing vote count, reviews and page address stay exactly as they are. Votes cannot be purchased.

Scheduling your launch date

If your free listing has not yet gone live, the upgrade card lets you pick which week it launches: this week for immediate publication, or any other week from those available. Once a free listing is already live, it continues live without interruption.

How to purchase

Sign in and navigate to /account/listings. Find your free listing, select 'Upgrades and extras' next to it, and the upgrade card appears first. Choose the button to proceed to checkout as normal.

Questions people ask

Does this cost more than a new paid launch?
No. The upgrade costs $5, which is exactly what you pay to post a new paid launch.
What happens to my reviews and votes?
Both remain attached to your listing. You keep your current page address too.
Can I decide when the upgraded listing goes live?
Yes, if it is not yet live. The upgrade card shows available weeks. If it is already live, it stays live.
