The Product review is a paid, maker-commissioned assessment that appears separately from community feedback on your listing.

Commissioning a review
The Product review ($19) is a structured assessment of your product, written from your public website and your listing details. You pay for it. Once purchased, it cannot be edited by you.
Where readers see it
The review appears in a dedicated section on your listing page, marked 'Commissioned by the maker'. This keeps it visibly distinct from member-written reviews, which remain in their own area below.
How it affects your standing
The Product review carries no weight in votes, ratings or leaderboard position. It adds no vote to community tallies and moves no ranking. Reviews by other founders sit in their own section. No review, paid or not, moves a ranking: votes do.
Buying the review
You can add it when you set up a paid launch—select it at the plan step. For an existing listing, sign in and go to /account/listings. Find the listing, select the 'Upgrades and extras' option and choose 'Order the Product review'. Current pricing appears on /pricing.
Timing
The review is live immediately after your payment clears.
Questions people ask
- Can I change or delete the Product review once it's live?
- No. The review is fixed once published. You commission it, but cannot alter it.
- Does a Product review affect my ranking or votes?
- It does not. Member votes set the community ranking; no review, paid or not, is counted in it.
- When does the review appear after I pay?
- It goes live straight away, in its own block on your listing page.
