How badges earn your listing a dofollow link
Free listings require our badge on your site to publish. Badge links start nofollow; they turn dofollow based on your domain rating and spam checks. A free listing also needs a complete founder profile.

Publishing your free listing
A free listing publishes only after our crawler spots our badge linked from your website. A free listing goes live only when the founder profile is complete as well as the badge being found. Any badge design works. You'll find badge options—shape, light or dark, and size—on your listing's badge page. Copy the HTML snippet and place it on your site.
We check for the badge automatically every 7 days. If it vanishes, your listing moves to "waiting for badge" status and you get an email. Restore it and your listing re-publishes without delay.
Link treatment and domain rating
The badge link begins as nofollow. Our script evaluates it live: it becomes dofollow when your Domain Rating (Ahrefs) reaches 20 or higher and passes our spam checks. Otherwise it remains nofollow.
Paid launches work differently. They receive a dofollow link to your website on the listing page itself, not through the badge.
Other badges you earn
Launch of the Week winners, Launched and Verified status badges display automatically when your listing qualifies. These appear on your listing independently of the badge you place on your own site. The Featured badge is different: it comes from a paid Featured period.
